Anchors we supply

Pin anchors: Drive-pin anchors that set with a hammer for fast, light-duty fastening into concrete, such as track, lath and conduit straps.
Expansion shield anchors: Shields that expand inside a drilled hole in masonry when a lag screw or machine bolt is tightened into them.
Sleeve anchors: A versatile anchor for concrete, brick and block. The sleeve expands along its length as the nut is tightened.
Wedge anchors: Heavy-duty anchors for solid concrete. A wedge clip at the bottom expands against the hole for high holding values.
Specialty anchors: Hard-to-find and project-specific anchors. Call with the specification or the application.

Materials, grades and standards

We stock low-carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, bronze and aluminum, including anodized finishes, in grade 5, grade 8, grade 9 and B7 and more. Everything we supply meets the specifications and standards of ASTM, ASME, SAE and ANSI.

Common questions

Which anchor should I use in solid concrete?

Wedge anchors are the usual choice for heavy loads in solid concrete. Sleeve anchors work in concrete, brick and block, and pin anchors are quick for light-duty work. Follow the manufacturer's hole size, embedment depth and edge-distance requirements, and the engineer's specification where there is one.

Can I use a wedge anchor in brick or block?

Wedge anchors are designed for solid concrete. For brick, block or other hollow base materials, a sleeve anchor or an expansion shield is usually the better fit. Call us with the base material and we'll help you choose.
